Advancing the role of legal administrators through education, sharing of knowledge and resources, and recognition of their contributions to the legal profession.
The Association of Legal Administrators Minnesota (ALAMN) was founded in 1965 by a small group of administrators who met over lunch to discuss common problems. In 1971, this same group formed the Twin Cities Law Office Administrators Association and, in 1980, voted to become a chapter of the international Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), becoming the Minnesota Legal Administrators Association. In 2010 the chapter changed its name to ALAMN to more closely identify itself as a chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
Today, membership in ALAMN includes more than 225 members in over 100 Minnesota law firms and corporate and governmental law departments.
Members say they find no better resource for professional development, continuing education opportunities, guidance in technology issues, personal motivation, and professional support than the Association of Legal Administrators Minnesota.
It is the members themselves that make ALAMN such an invaluable resource. We invite your active participation in this dynamic association. Join us today! |
